- Ticket purchase details (buyer name, email, ticket selections, attendee information where required by the Organiser)
- Organiser details (business name, contact details, event information, policies)
- Support messages and communications with us

- Device and log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date/time, referring pages)
- Approximate location (derived from IP address)
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies section)
2.3 Payment data
We may store limited payment-related metadata such as the payment status, transaction reference, last four digits, and card brand (where provided by Stripe).

- To provide and operate the Platform (accounts, listings, checkout, ticket delivery)
- To process payments and facilitate payouts to Organisers
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse and to keep the Platform secure

4. Lawful Bases for Processing
We process personal data under one or more of the following lawful bases:
- Contract - To provide the Platform, deliver tickets, and manage accounts and orders.
- Legitimate Interests - To operate and improve the Platform, prevent fraud, and maintain security, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal Obligation - To comply with applicable laws, tax and accounting requirements, and payment provider rules.
- Consent - Where required for cookies/marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.
6. Payments & Payouts (Stripe)
TicketsPlz uses Stripe to process payments from Customers and to facilitate payouts to Organisers (including via Stripe Connect where applicable). Stripe may process personal data to provide these services, carry out identity checks, and comply with legal requirements.
7. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), UK Addendum to EU SCCs, or other legally recognised mechanisms to protect your data.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, and monitoring for suspicious activity. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

- Providing the Platform and servicing your account
- Handling refunds, disputes, and chargebacks
- Meeting legal, tax, and accounting obligations
